I have been around comics my entire life. First as a fan. Then as a creator. Writer. Letterer. Designer. That hands-on foundation is what everything else is built on.

I started as a fan, the way most people in this industry do. But somewhere between reading and making, something shifted. I became a writer, letterer, and designer. I worked my way into the industry the hard way -- project by project, page by page -- until I was Head of Design at Scout Comics, helping shape the visual identity of books that reached shelves nationwide.

What I kept seeing, at every level, was the same problem. Talented creators with real ideas that never made it into the world. Not because the concept was not good enough. Because they had no infrastructure. No production system. No one who understood both the craft and the business well enough to get the work across the finish line.

I built Concept to Comic™ to solve that problem. And I built Metal Ninja Studios to deliver it at scale. Today MNS is a full-service IP development company that takes creators from raw concept to finished, distribution-ready comic -- in six months. We have helped bring dozens of stories into the world that would have otherwise stayed on someone's hard drive. That is the work I am most proud of.

In 2025, I launched Capital of Comics -- a weekly masterclass podcast built around the conversations I wished existed when I was coming up. No gatekeeping. No theory. Just practical, behind-the-scenes lessons from creators, publishers, and operators
who are actually building in this industry.

I am also a working writer. The Dusk County Chronicles and Before My Eyes are my personal creative projects -- proof that I have never stopped being a creator first, even while running a company.

My Christian faith is the foundation everything else is built on. It shapes how I lead, how I treat people, and why I believe the work we do matters beyond the bottom line.

Alongside that, I am deeply committed to personal and business development, not as a hobby, but as a practice. The same discipline that gets me up for a 5am trail run or an obstacle course is the same discipline I bring to building systems, leading a team, and growing as a founder. I study it. I live it. I believe that growth is a daily decision, not a destination.

I live in Florida with my wife Chrissy and our son Emmett. They are the reason the work has to mean something.
